Shayla Neffendorf, FNP-C, has been practicing with Rheumatology and Internal Medicine Associates since January 2024. Prior to that, she was employed at Commonwealth Care Alliance and Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. Shayla has over 10 years of experience in primary care as a nurse practitioner. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Florida Institute of Technology. She continued her education at Regis College where she obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in nursing and holds board certification through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. With a passion for education and advocacy, Shayla strives to empower patients with the knowledge they need to make informed health decisions.

Outside of work, Shayla enjoys spending time with family, reading, travelling, and exercising at her Crossfit gym.
